Manager, Channel Sales

As a key member of our national Sales Team, the Manager, Channel Sales will be a top performing Channel Representative responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing an assigned account base of indirect sales Partners who sell new and existing products and services to business clients. S/he will focus on growing the IntelePeer relationship with high tech solution providers in the indirect channel space, supporting our channel programs and driving revenue growth. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Create new Partner relationships via partner recruitment activities driven by inbound and outbound campaigns
  • Manage contracting process for new Partner relationships
  • Partner Training and Onboarding
      1. Coordinate and deliver training and onboarding programs for Partners to ensure sales readiness for company products and processes; for example, order processes, product training, and IntelePeer Partner portal usage
    1. Coordinate and deliver training updates for Partners on new product offerings and related processes
  • Identify, establish, penetrate, and strengthen key alliances in the telecommunications and technology community to position the company for new sales opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with Partners, ensuring a positive Partner experience
  • Support the success of the assigned regions by developing productive partnerships
  • Facilitate funnel development via day–to-day activities, including preparation of customer presentations and price quotes
  • Champion Partner needs and coordinate with internal groups  (sales engineering, product, etc.) during the sales process
  • Support event planning activities, including participation level, agenda, required attendees, content to be delivered, marketing collateral requirements, and scheduling key meetings
  • Participate in industry events where IntelePeer has a presence
  • Accurately forecast Sales & Revenue expectations as a result of activities
  • Provide timely, detailed and accurate reporting to internal and external audiences (forecasts, prospects, funnels, schedules, expense reports, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field highly preferred

Expertise & Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in channel management
  • Experience selling SaaS products is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Telecommunications Industry influencing Unified Cloud Communications customer buying behaviors and trends highly preferable
  • Demonstrated track record of success:
    1. meeting and exceeding sales and revenue growth targets  
    2. interacting with customers at all organizational levels
    3. managing RFP responses
    4. negotiating and closing deals
    5. establishing and managing customer expectations
    6. influencing and collaborating across organizational boundaries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and customer relationship management (CRM) software (SalesForce preferred)
