Choozle is looking for a Director of Sales to manage our growing field sales team. This position will report to the VP of Sales & Account Management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-performance sales teams in an accountable and growth-focused environment.  Our ideal candidate possesses a positive and coachable attitude, excitement to meet new people, a drive to actively engage and drive team success, and a history of hitting sales goals. The Director of Sales will have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the revenue and cultural success of this fast-growing company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage a 6-8 person hunter focused sales team
  • Work collectively with Account Management and and your team to cultivate and grow accounts
  • Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
  • Manage the the day-to-day operations and accountabilities of Choozle’s regionally based field sales team
  • Produce and execute on quarterly plans to maximize revenue
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Mentor and manage hunter focused sales team with account responsibility
  • Hold team accountable to all sales activity KPI and top 50 prospect/marketing strategy
  • Evolve and adapt outreach strategy in order to meet and exceed activity and revenue goals
  • Present to a variety of key decision-makers of various levels both at agencies and brands, from media planners to VPs and C-level executives
  • Attend networking events and frequently entertain prospects and clients
  • Travel as necessary to team’s markets to elevate Choozle’s presence, support current clients, and close new business

WHO YOU ARE

  • Possess a passion not only for management but also a the discipline of sales process 
  • 5+ years experience managing a successful sales team
  • Ability to help team strategically build out a new market and prioritize high value opportunities that will have the greatest revenue impact
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment while demonstrating ability to work autonomously
  • Solid organizational, communication, and presentation skills 
  • Expert negotiator and adept at overcoming objections 
  • Desire to be a visible and valuable team member and take pride in anticipating and meeting the needs of clients 
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, DMP, or other online advertising company
  • Programmatic platform sales experience highly preferred
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers at advertising agencies and brands
