We are looking for an experienced individual to lead our world-class Sales team!  As the Director of Sales, you will build, coach, & lead a high performing inside-sales team of account executives, driving a solution-based and disciplined sales process from SQL to close. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales is an integral part of the fast-moving leadership team, and will operate in partnership with leaders in marketing, demand-gen, business development and client success to maximize revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is someone with strong inside sales experience, a strong focus on sales process, experience developing and coaching sales people, and the confidence and experience to lead. If you don’t pay great attention to detail and aren’t passionate about building and managing a high-performing SaaS sales team to hit revenue growth targets, then this probably isn’t the right opportunity for you. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Leading the team and managing the sales process from SQL to close, including managing our Account Executives, Product Experts, and Sales Enablement functions. 
  • Defining, establishing, and continuously improving our sales process, benchmarks and objectives to ensure accurate, appropriate, & adequate pipeline, close rates, and a controlled sales cycle that is the basis for measuring the performance of the sales team.
  • Ensuring accountability and discipline to the sales process, as well as driving continuous improvement through our sales process to ensure we have a high performing, repeatable sales machine.
  • Coaching, leading and mentoring sales staff in identifying, creating, qualifying, nurturing and developing, and closing opportunities.
  • Conducting routine one on ones with direct reports and key stakeholders and serving as a mentor, using each sales opportunity as a teachable moment.
  • Staying aware of the developments and changes in the industry, competition, and our clients, particularly those affecting opportunities and sales targets.
  • Recruiting and retaining a high-performance and highly engaged sales team. 
  • Establishing strong relationships and partnerships across departments and collaborating on solutions that remove roadblocks/barriers to sales execution and growing revenue. 

About You: 

  • Proven experience as a sales leader with exceptional process and team development skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others to perform and achieve results.
  • Experience in selling B2B SaaS solutions, nationally or globally and experience managing high-performing inside sales teams.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technology solutions and business needs.
  • Strong execution focus and ability to develop solutions and strategies to further accelerate growth.
  • Proven experience closing or assisting sales team members in closing deals.
