Who You Are:

  • A seasoned Sales professional who is self-motivated and results-obsessed
  • A team player who works well with other departments, but is committed to building and managing all aspects of the sales department, including systems, processes, and diagnostics
  • Authorized to work in the United States and a resident in a United States time zone
  • Comfortable with remote work
  • Comfortable with travel for events and shows as needed
  • Someone who knows when, who, and how to ask for help


What You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4+ years' of sales leadership experience
  • 7+ years' of experience in sales
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills


What you may have:

  • Previous experience within the Payments industry


The Key Responsibilities of the Director of Sales include:
Strategy

  • Identifying + solving problems in Sales Operations and negotiating strategies for improvement
  • Working closely with COO to ideate process improvements
  • Managing new process improvements from approval to implementation
  • Establishing the CRM stack and identifying new valuable tools to add
  • Developing an internal Sales hierarchy and defining a Sales Manager org structure


Collaboration

  • Acting as the Management Level Contact for ISVs
  • Collaborating with Sales Manager and reporting to COO/VP on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales metrics
  • Attending weekly/monthly internal meetings with Implementation/ Product/ Tech/ Marketing/ Partner Success teams to ensure alignment
  • Conducting weekly 1:1 with Sales Managers
  • Collaborating on creation and approval of non-standard proposals
  • Collaborating with Marketing team to develop vertical specific collateral and case studies
  • Collaborating with Marketing to develop conference schedules and define conference goals, as well as ensuring proper sales resources and personnel are allocated
  • Scheduling, planning, and executing quarterly sales meetings in Broomfield, CO
  • Participating in and supporting the hiring process (ex: new Sales Managers)
  • Providing input to content team
  • Managing Short Term Incentives (STIs)
  • Remaining an industry expert
    • Researching industry trends/news/best practices as to remain an industry expert


Analytics

  • Developing and monitoring sales metrics
  • Developing and maintaining sales forecasts
  • Developing dashboards for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
