A little about the role…
The Director of Sales, Payment Processing leads and manages the upsell process of integrated payment processing to SMB accounts and oversees the reps that are focused on cross selling, upselling and expansion of existing SMB accounts. The key objective of the Director of Sales, Payment Processing is to achieve company plan to new locations of existing accounts, and the expansion of additional services including but not limited to payment processing to existing customers.
Who You Are
The Director of Sales, Payment Processing also builds and manages all aspects of the sales department inclusive of setting and driving the quantity of rep activities, scoring and coaching the quality of activities, and ensuring sufficient creation of pipeline to meet the company plan. The Director of Sales, Payment Processing also works closely with the following departments; Customer Support, Finance, Marketing, and Account Management for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of first-class customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Strategy: The Director of Sales, Payment Processing plays a strategic role in building creative sales strategies that are focused on customer satisfaction and the attachment of payment processing to existing customers. In this position, the Director of Sales, Payment Processing creates goals that align with the attainment of the business’s overall objectives and strives to meet and exceed these goals while ensuring the team is sufficiently staffed such that a majority of the team is able to achieve their individual goals. The Director of Sales, Payment Processing conducts reviews of the existing account sales motion and KPI’s. These reviews are used to identify areas of improvement at the rep and team level.
- Analytics: The Director of Sales, Payment Processing also plays an analytical role in conducting research and performing analyses on the performance of the sales department ensuring prompt delivery and accuracy of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to senior management. This is for the purpose of identifying areas of improvement in the business’s marketing strategies, identifying opportunities with pricing and promotional tactics and understanding the market and competitive environment.
- Industry Participation: The Director of Sales, Payment Processing also has a duty to represent the business beyond the sales department. This person participates in tradeshows, sales workshops, sales seminars, and events on behalf of the business. This is for the purpose of collecting qualified leads and pertinent sales information as well as keeping up with payment processing trends.
- Collaboration: The Director of Sales, Payment Processing also plays a collaborative role, partnering with the finance department to ensure best practices in data collection and order creation by the sales department in order to ensure optimal performance. They also partner with the marketing department to ensure marketing initiatives support the promotion of integrated payment processing.
Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate will have…
- 7+ years of sales experience, including SaaS & SMB
- 2-4 years of developing and managing a sales team
- BA/BS/Master’s degree in sales, business administration or similar relevant experience
- Experience working with large data sets from multiple sources, including Salesforce, Pardot and Netsuite
- Experience with Sales CRMs, like Salesforce
- Customer-focused approach to communications

Salary
$120,000-150,000 DOE
Location
This position is based in our Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. Candidates must be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical exemption or religious accommodation. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver office a few days a week.
