Business Development Representative Lead

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervising the BDR team in a player coach capacity. In addition to carrying a quota, your success will be tied to driving performance of your teammates
- Coach and be accountable for the activity and results of a 1-person team of inside business development reps
- This is a HUNTER role requiring strong dedication, internal drive, and thick skin
- Active auditing of Outreach templates to determine best cadences for outbound lead generation
- The opportunity to collaborate with sales/marketing/product leadership and account executives daily
- Generate new sales opportunities by prospecting via personalized Outreach templates, LinkedIn messages/videos/emails and phone calls
- Qualify inbound leads before handoff to Account Executives to enable the most productive demos possible
- Partner closely with Account Executives to help move along qualified pipeline through the sales cycle
- Research and evaluate leads, prospects and target accounts through web research and discovery calls and/or emails
- Build a point of view on how to help qualify customers needs
- Build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders to set calls with prospects and existing customers
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization
- Manage a high volume of inbound leads with a strategy on prioritization of your leads
- Maintain contacts, opportunities and effectively track activity in Salesforce
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities including sales calls, presentations, and follow-up activities through Salesforce
WHO YOU ARE
- 2-4 years of experience in a B2B sales, lead generation or telesales position
- 1 year experience in a sales management role
- Experience with selling into the business/enterprise market
- Self-autonomous, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to be goal oriented and self-motivated
- Interest in helping build out the BDR function at TextUs
- A priority on owning the middle of the funnel
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

- Compensation Range:
- Base $70,000 - 85,000
- OTE $115,000
- Location: Remote (US) / Headquartered in Denver, CO
- Reporting to: VP, Sales
