Position Description
The IT Project Manager is an exceptional communicator with a proficient understanding of operations for successful application development in a scrum agile framework, and outstanding stakeholder management. Acts as the Scrum Master for operational enhancements and strategic projects in the pre-sales development domain. The IT Project Manager will coordinate tracking roadmap items, priorities, design, implementation, development, testing, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals to improve customer experience within Tranzact and Salesforce.
An ability to understand complex system dependencies and translate stakeholder goals into technology solutions is critical. An individual with a hunger to solve problems and improve operational performance will excel in this role.
Personal communication skills are critical, as this role demands constant interaction across various teams including business development, sales, network engineers, product, finance, service delivery and operations.
Responsibilities
Own the design, implementation, and deployment of ongoing enhancements and projects directly into Tranzact and Salesforce
Identify project phases, features, user stories, teams involved, and inter-relationships between business group processes/functions and microservices/applications
Facilitate scrum events like Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Sprint Planning and participate in Sprint Retros
Communicate project progress, remove development impediments, and ensure project priority is clearly understood and reflected at all times with development and stakeholders
Identify Critical Path and manage key issue resolution
Become a subject matter expert on business operations and automation processes with a Pre-Sales domain
Build, execute, and drive technical projects alongside the business analyst to promote automation, product enablement, API/3rd Party integrators
Present business cases for enhancements, optimizations, and inefficiencies
Ability to communicate with both development and business teams
Ensures broad endorsement / adoption of all initiatives
Create and maintain project documentation and highly complex processes
Frequently monitors and reports on status of projects and demo progress to critical stakeholders
Establish and maintain trusting relationships with point product & engineering stakeholders
Understand team ecosystem, projects, and workload to define appropriate prioritization of tasks
Ability to work with a team effectively in an ever changing and ambiguous environment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics/Big Data, or Business with a technical emphasis
2-5 year of IT project management or related experience
Deep understanding of scrum agile methodology
Outstanding organizational skills, highly resourceful and proven project management
Highly skilled communicator - written and verbal, able to breakdown technical jargon and communicate with the IT team and business stakeholders
Able to build a project plan including business case, timeline and phased approach for completion.
Basic understanding of database management and microservice architecture is preferred
A general understanding of Telecommunications technologies: Network Connectivity and Quote to Cash process is preferred
Proficient with MS office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, Gitlab, and Salesforce (plus)
Capacity to work on multiple projects and meet various deadlines
Understanding of delegation with the ability to provide logical guidance in a fast paced and quickly changing environment

Base salary range: $62,982-$68,696
