What you’ll do:

The Apprentice Program Facilitator serves as the primary educational provider for the Pinnacol Assurance Youth Apprenticeship Program. This role will provide engaging educational content and training delivery focused on developing the critical skills needed for young adults to successfully prepare for the world of work in business and IT career pathways. 

This position will report directly to the Apprenticeship Program Manager and also work closely with the Senior Talent Management Manager in executing a high quality work based learning experience that creates a viable talent pipeline for the business while also expanding the landscape of potential for enrolled participants. This unique role demands a high level of attention to detail, problem solving, facilitation skill, comfort with curriculum implementation, relationship building, external partnership development, customer service, case management, data analysis and communication skill.

What you can expect:

  • Lead curriculum development, design and implementation for participants focusing on key competency mastery, industry knowledge attainment, workplace skill development and corresponding credential completion. 
  • Create an engaging and experiential learning experience for participants in both remote and in-person environments.
  • Manage and support data collection, evaluation and outcome tracking processes associated with program and participants utilizing various databases and systems.
  • Support case management, performance feedback and coaching processes with participants.
  • Facilitate and develop training and coaching support content for program participants including apprentices, supervisors and mentor coaches connected to apprentice/intern participants.
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, purchasing, invoicing, associated communication and tracking of supplies, resources and items necessary for successful program and event implementation and execution.
  • Assist annual recruiting outreach and hiring processes including school site visits, interview participation and onboarding processes.
  • Regularly compose and manage comprehensive, timely and informative communications for program participants and stakeholders. 
  • Support with work visualization systems and project management processes for program objectives, task tracking and planning processes (Jira/Miro Kanban boards).
  • Represent the organization and program professionally in various externally facing capacities.

What you need to be successful:

  • 2+ years experience working with high school aged youth focused on work-based learning and career & technical skills development.
  • 2+ years experience with curriculum development, instructional design and implementation is preferred.
  • Ability and desire to work with technology platforms such as Google Suite, talent management, payroll, data analysis and applicant tracking systems. 
  • COMMUNICATION: Ability to listen to identify messages others are attempting to convey, and convey ideas effectively both in writing and verbally with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
  • RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT: A demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders including youth participants, business leaders, colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • DEVELOPMENT OTHERS: Ability to mentor others through constructively challenging assumptions and sharing knowledge with others in support of growing the skill set of their team and apprentices. 
  • EXECUTION: Ability and experience in setting goals, monitoring progress, and taking the initiative to improve your work and others in addition to developing novel solutions and persevering through challenges to help overcome obstacles.

The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $64,000-$70,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

If you decide to come into the office, we’re just seven miles from downtown Denver, in the heart of the Lowry neighborhood. Our office is minutes away from a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, fitness facilities and lush parks and open spaces.
