About the Job

You are accountable for overall management and leadership, driving achievement of goals, objectives, and business outcomes for each of your assigned projects. The Project Manager works collaboratively with Zone Sales, the implementation delivery team, solution architects, software developers, the quality assurance team, and other key resources to ensure a successful implementation outcome. This role involves exposure to both internal and external leadership positions and may be required to provide executive updates and/or presentations to various senior level roles. You may also have ownership of supporting key partner-led implementations, facilitating design reviews, and triaging critical issues to ensure partner success for our mutual customers.


  • Manage professional services implementation projects, including leading client-facing meetings, reporting on project status, executive communication, project/program planning, escalations, resource management, and troubleshooting as needed to drive successful client relationships
  • Initiate and maintain implementation plans and perform ongoing project assessments for plan revisions while ensuring timely project deliverables
  • Demonstrate flexibility to effectively respond to changing project and client needs while balancing multiple ongoing simultaneous projects
  • Prepare issue analysis, status updates, and special reporting to internal project team and the client
  • Provide yourself as a project focal point contact for internal and external communications and escalations
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, customer, and all key stakeholders
  • Manage team resources within scope of project responsibilities, including timely resolution of schedule, responsibility, and team conflicts
  • Establish and communicate timely, clear task and project expectations 
  • Provide adequate, proactive planning for all phases of the implementation
  • Maintain a high level of communication for all levels of client interaction to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution 
  • Understand and work on project risk assessments
  • As needed, facilitate conflict resolution between Zone and the customer or within the Zone delivery team 
  • Contribute to internal improvement efforts, as directed by the leadership team 


  • Bachelor’s Degree, or comparable industry/management experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience including resource allocation, and resource prioritization
  • Understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques
  • Experience with the Waterfall Methodology and familiarity with Agile principles
  • Effective in managing scope, budget, resources and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to oversee risk management process throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Software implementation experience to include a good understanding of integration, data, customization, and other ERP implementation-related principles
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Individual who takes ownership of the project and is proactive, results-oriented, and has an urgent mindset when coming to meeting critical deadlines
  • Ability to understand and interpret a Statement of Work and Project Blueprints
  • History of building extraordinary relationships with clients and colleagues

Preferred Requirements

  • CAPM or PMP certification
  • Implementation experience with ERP and CRM applications
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or competing/related products is a plus
  • Experience with change management

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Zone's Flexible Spending Account (FSA) helps employees cover out-of-pocket medical expenses with pre-tax contributions of up to $2,650 annually. Zone will contribute $250.00 per employee.
Disability insurance
Zone's disability insurance benefit is 60% of an employee's annual salary up to a $1,500 maximum weekly payout for 13 weeks. Employees also have the option to purchase extra coverage.
