About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled individual to keep the AMP Robotics office organized and running smoothly. We have two offices located close to each other, including our headquarters and R&D facility, and assembly facility. The company is growing at a rapid rate, and we need a determined individual who can ensure that the office environment is the best it can be for employees and visitors. The Office Manager is one of the first people that visitors to AMP Robotics will meet, and therefore this is a critical role in the company.
What you’ll do:
Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
Manage the receptionist functions, and develop a system for greeting visitors, directing phone calls
Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail and office shipments
Manage the security systems for all facilities
Manage office budget
Manage office shopping and supplies, including inventory and place orders as necessary
Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
Assist with office layout planning and office moves, and with managing and maintaining IT infrastructure
Assist with robot demonstrations for customers and important visitors
Manage office perks such as snacks, stocked kitchen, and company lunch
Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems
Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
Provide other office duties as necessary
What you’ll need:
Required:
2-5 years of work experience in an administrative/office management role
Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
Must be a self-starter and driven
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Must have exceptional attention to detail
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
Have an interest in sustainability and recycling. AMP Robotics is in the recycling business, and the Office Manager is expected to apply our sustainability and recycling values to the office environment.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google products
