Marketing Manager, Events & Experiences
The Manager, Events & Experiences mission is to define how SpotX shows up in market. You’ll be in charge of planning, partnering and executing some of SpotX’s highest profile events.
You’ll work closely with our brand and product marketing teams to build events programs, formulate creative initiatives and help our sales teams create meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers. You will be responsible for the landscape of event production and management including partnering with our content, design and logistics teams. A critical part of your end-to-end responsibility includes architecting a measurement strategy for events to analyze post-event performance to report on the success of the event. You’ll need to have a strong skill set in organization and project management. Above all you need to be driven by creating unique experiences for our customers that impact their lives in positive and memorable ways.
Candidates will have a proven track record of producing complex events of many sizes including helping drive the creative process and managing the on-site implementation teams. Candidates will likely have spent a portion of their careers in the advertising technology space either on the agency/trading desk/DSP (advertiser) or supply (publisher/media owner/broadcaster) side of the business.

How you’ll make an immediate impact:
- Work with the brand and analytics marketing teams and partner with SpotX’s sales teams to conceptualize, produce and measure unique events and experiences
- Execute events and experiences that bolster and communicate SpotX’s brand, thought leadership and unique technology
- Work with SpotX’s internal creative team or outside agencies to invent and shape unique events and experiences that set us apart and educate our customers
- Instrument event measurement to allow for post-event reporting and ROI analysis
What we’re looking for:
- BA/BS degree or relevant experience
- 3-4 years of experience creating events and leading the teams that help with execution
- Experience in advertising technology or in Saas
- Experience with marketing automation tools like HubSpot
- Strong skills in project management and using Asana to manage your work life
- Effective working in a fast-paced environment where things are always changing—especially as it pertains to day of event execution
- Ability to travel from coast-to-coast and be flexible in working hours
