We are in need of a manufacturing associate to support the production of genetic testing products.


What you’ll do:


  • Manufacture product as specified in controlled manufacturing procedures, and in compliance
  • with cGMP regulations and guidelines
  • Accurately complete documentation in cGMP manufacturing batch records, using Good
  • Documentation Practices
  • Operate manufacturing, manufacturing support, and lab equipment as trained
  • Maintain the cGMP Manufacturing area per Company specifications
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation as applicable to the scope of
  • manufacturing
  • Clean, prepare and assemble the equipment for processing operations
  • Work with chemicals
  • Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
  • Adhere to Company policies and safety guidelines

EHS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all required EHS training
  • Wear appropriate PPE as required
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, Invitae EHS policies, and procedures
  • and the requirements of accrediting organizations and work in a safe and responsible manner


What you bring: 


  • High School Diploma required. Post-secondary education, ideally in biological or physical science, is preferred but not required. 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment 
  • Skill with (or ability to learn) aseptic, cleanroom or molecular biology technique
  • Technical accuracy and ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices are preferred
  • Prior work within a formal quality system

In Colorado, our competitive compensation package includes a base pay rate starting from $18/hr.  In determining the final rate offered, we will evaluate a specific candidate's geographic location, education, skills, and experience.
