The Team:
At Datadog, Office Operations (OfficeOps) run the day-to-day operations for Datadog and help to keep our employees safe, happy and productive, which means every day is different. Office Operations work closely with leadership and employees to ensure that Datadog keeps scaling smoothly and remains a great place to work.
The Opportunity:
Datadog is looking for a Manager, Office Operations, to join our team in Denver to help us with a range of responsibilities to support our new office. You’ll help keep our employees safe, happy and productive, which could mean ensuring we’re not running out of espresso beans and pretzels, planning an ice-skating event for 200 people, or hosting a 150 guest meetup into our gorgeous Denver office - every day will be different.
You Will:
Responsible for setting up and organizing our brand new Denver office
Identify and onboard local vendors to provide lunch, snack and beverage programs
Work with department leaders to develop seating plans
Hire, manage, develop and coach OfficeOps team members
Handle all furniture & equipment procurement, installations and repairs
Partner with IT & People (HR) to set up new employees for success with space planning, onboarding and offboarding
Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with building management & other vendors
Assist other cities’ Managers on various OfficeOps initiatives
Conduct & motivate staff to perform daily walkthroughs to maintain a clean and safe space
Guide staff to maintain all office and employee needs from stationery and swag to cafeteria supplies
Manage all mailroom incoming and outgoing procedures
Arrange monthly team-building events for OfficeOps team
You Are:

Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Bring creativity and fresh ideas that help contribute to the culture at Datadog
Great at adjusting message content and tone to your audience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
Minimum 3 years experience of managing full-time staff

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule (“EPT”), the Manager, Office Operations has an annual starting salary of $90,000, plus a competitive equity package. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation may further vary depending on if this role is eligible for discretionary bonuses, or commissions. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of employee benefits.
