Kit Commodity Coordinator
Location: Anywhere in US
Position Summary and Description:
Oversees the agreements and results of our Kit Distributor Suppliers. Compiles and maintains information and records to ensure KPI’s are met. Prepares and owns supplier forecasts. Performs regular inventory analyses to drive purchase requirements. Works with our medical device and reagent suppliers for quotations, purchasing, and deliveries. Resolves most questions and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
Major Responsibilities:
- Compiles KPI data and drives excellence from our kit distribution partners
- Prepares and owns 90 day rolling forecasts for all kit suppliers
- Performs material transactions to ensure supply information is accurate within ERP system and enters commodity/part price update requests
- Monitors and reports supplier spend
- Understands and drives company initiatives and strategies
- Assists with new kit requirements and onboarding
- Maintains good supplier relationships, communications, and collects information/ data as necessary
- Oversees monthly physical inventory counts and prepares outcome analyses for finance
- Investigates and identifies root cause analysis in conjunction with supplier quality when supplier Incidents arise
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Supply Chain Certification with 2-5 years’ work experience in Supply Chain
- Highly proficient/advanced in MS Excel
- Oracle experience preferred, but not required
- Willing and able to learn new systems
- Travel requirements: Willing to travel quarterly and additionally as needed (Supplier visits and inventory events)
- Language: English
