Sovrn works to help many thousands of Independent Content Creators do more of what they love, and less of what they don’t. Many of these clients and customers want to spend their time on the things that matter most to them - namely to create and/or curate highly engaging content for their readers and visitors. Through our thousands of client partnerships we have learned many lessons and are able to apply these lessons as best practices towards a service offering. Sovrn Services provides a suite of services including ad optimization, DFP management, unified reporting, billing and collections, consumer data protection, and access to capital.
We are seeking a leader for the Sovrn Service Business. You will have the opportunity to grow, shape, and lead this important division of the overall Sovrn business.
The successful candidate has a proven ability to identify client challenges and then apply tools, technology, and professional services to resolving those challenges. In each case, you would develop the roadmap and methodology required to move from current state to future state, including changes and implications to existing client architecture and systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage project development from initiation to closure.
- Use critical thinking capabilities to solve business problems.
- Work with Client and internal stakeholders to complete each Project Charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines.
- Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
- Communicate project status to Client and all stakeholders; monitor and escalate risks and issues as appropriate.
- Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure team members have the tools needed and provide timely feedback.
- Continuously seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen clientRelationships.
- Make recommendations and help facilitate staffing plan to best support service offering structure and methodology
- Drive packaging of offerings and development of marketing collateral to increase early publisher engagement and buy-in
Qualifications
- 5+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services and/or systems integration consulting experience.
- Demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagement experience; including a role in interfacing with client executives.
- Experience working in multiple industries and business areas, experience in the publishing industry preferred.
- Must be flexible with a high tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity
- 5+ years experience managing business unit or cross functional teams
