About the Role: 

The Operations Lead role at Beaming Health is our first full-time operations hire. You will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of our business and report directly to Chris Olmanson, our Founder and CEO. This is a chance to play a key role in the early stages of a growing company. At a high-level, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers get paid, stay informed, and have the best possible experience. As you build expertise in our business, you’ll contribute directly to strategic decision-making in our operations, product, and go-to-market efforts. 

Expectations: 

• Lead onboarding process for new providers, making sure they are informed and supported 
• Interface directly with insurance companies to ensure that new providers get credentialed, check that families are authorized for services, and follow up on unpaid or denied claims 
• Delegate work to our Philippines operations team while coaching, managing, and empowering them to deliver excellent results for our customers 
• Continuously look for, suggest, and implement new ways to improve our processes and create a better experience for our customers  
• Communicate efficiently and effectively between our customers, insurance companies, and Beaming Team members to keep everyone informed 

About You: 

• 3+ years experience working in a fast-paced environment (high-growth startup, investment banking, or top consulting firm) 
• Strong work ethic and humility (willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done, nothing is “below you”) 
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage many tasks and relationships simultaneously 
• Interested in learning what it takes to build a company from the ground up, and willing to put in the work to make it a reality 
• Desire to be surrounded by others who are smart, driven, and curious 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to communicate well, accept and give feedback, and contribute to a positive team culture
• Passion for working on something that makes a difference in the world 

Other Logistics: 

This is a full-time, fully-virtual role. We value flexibility (our team is spread out across multiple time zones, with team members in California, New York and Ukraine) and we value time together (quarterly team on-sites to build relationships among our team).
