As a Manager, Account Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of mid-market Account Managers tasked with growing and expanding our existing Corporate Solutions customers.  You’ll partner with leaders both in and out of the Sales and Account Management organization to develop and execute plans that create delightful experiences for our customers as your team sets them up for success and growth.  You will develop and execute plans that grow our business and help ezCater achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue growth & customer health objectives - all while managing a high-performing mid-market account management team.

What You'll Do: 

  • Build, manage and develop a world-class Account Management team. You'll build and manage a team of mid-market Account Managers, focusing on retention and expansion of your team’s fast growing stream of corporate accounts.
  • Instill a mindset of creating lifelong customers. Your team’s customers are rethinking how they use food for work and you’ll lead the team that makes utilizing the ezCater suite of corporate solutions, easy.
  • Ensure the Voice of the Customer resonates.  Your team’s success is dependent on successful leadership; successful leadership is impossible without an innate understanding of customer needs. You’ll partner with leaders across the organization to ensure we’re hearing how we can best serve our customers.
  • Create and execute a playbookWe’ve brought on hundreds of mid-market accounts and now it’s time to scale.  You’ll help lead the charge on developing & iterating on expansion and growth processes & best practices.
  • Coach and mentor. You'll help your team become even better at their craft as well as driving a culture of professional & personal development.
  • Invent, test, and measure. We’ve reimagined the corporate solutions at ezCater and you’ll drive a culture of innovation & autonomy that rewards smart bets through trying and tracking as we build the future of Food For Work. 
  • You’ll Provide Data. You’ll deliver and report on weekly, monthly and quarterly customer health, product adoption, and opportunity identification.  You’ll keep senior leaders (and more importantly the members of your team) apprised of the org's goals and progress, while identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies and profitable workstreams.
  • Recruit, Hire and Train. You’ll inherit and build upon a rock star team and be a key stakeholder in developing the hiring process for our next generation of superstars. You’ve probably got some superstars in mind that you’d love to have join on the mission as well.
  • Drive Diversity, Ensure Equity and Ingrain Inclusion.  You lead with empathy and build teams that do the same ensuring that our teams model the diverse communities which we serve.
  • Collaborate. You'll collaborate with leadership across Sales, SalesOps, Customer Support, Partner Success, Product, Marketing, and Legal/Finance to jointly achieve key objectives.
  • Implement infrastructure and systems in collaboration with SalesOps to support the success of the onboarding and account management organization.

What You Have

  • 5+ years of sales, implementation, account management, or customer success experience with Mid-Market or Enterprise level customers in a sales org
  • 1+ year of Management experience
  • Have been a consistent top performer and can effectively share your wisdom.  You know what it takes to succeed and can tailor your insights to different workstyles.
  • Have Experience Leading Strategy.  You’ll use your expertise to identify how to effectively and efficiently make every customer love partnering with us.
  • Understand Customer Experience and Sales Cycles. We have a suite of products that customers may start with - you will drive the consultative approach to identify opportunities to expand wallet share and create churnless experiences.
  • Are customer obsessed.  You are empathetic and put yourself in the customers’ shoes to make decisions - you’ll coach your team to have the autonomy to do the same.
  • Are data-driven. You get that the customer experience isn’t just an art, it’s a science.  You’ve got your favorite ways to measure results and Excel is your friend. Pivot Tables and Vlookups are a part of your every day to organize and evaluate data in order to guide your team's strategy
  • Are a success. People have worked for you and been successful with you more than once.
  • Are technically savvy. CRM and CX tools are child’s play to you.
  • Are kind. You play well with others and can be candid without being cruel.

The national on-target earnings (base salary + commission) cash compensation range for this role is $147,000 - $175,000* per year.

*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
