JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an ambitious Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for attracting top talent to join our team. You will learn and develop best recruiting practices to help build out the talent acquisition strategy. As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, connecting, and qualifying candidates against open requisitions while also helping to drive strategic initiatives and planning the implementation of recruiting campaigns.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
- Effectively support full cycle recruiting including sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, presenting, conducting background checks, and closing qualified entry-level to executive-level candidates as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Provide excellent applicant and internal customer management service.
- Take the initiative to develop candidate profiles together with hiring managers by understanding the required skills, the impact of the role, and cultural fit to the team and company.
- Write and coordinate organization of web page content; create Applicant Tracking System requisitions and job board postings, and position-specific screening questionnaires.
- Assist with companywide recruiting projects and serve as back-up staff/leadership as needed.
- Collaborate to develop a compelling recruitment strategy to hire according to projected staffing plans and increase recruiting's efficiency.
- Develop strong hiring manager partnerships and empower them to make informed hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of hiring managers to teach hiring managers more effective interviewing and assessment skills.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Negotiate potential offers.
- Own your data and use it to build your strategy.
- Be an ambassador for our culture and mission.
- May be involved in mentoring or guiding more junior level recruiters or support staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Exceptionally detail-oriented and process driven; with the ability to manage competing priorities.
· Strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize, and excellent organizational skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to learn new software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to source qualified candidates, both active and passive.
- Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of senior level executives as well as hiring managers and candidates.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring hard-to-find candidates and working in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated success in filling a variety of roles at all levels.
- Ability to understand business objectives and culture and translate these to hiring requirements.
- Must be flexible with the ability to adjust a search as business requirements change.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people required.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
- Exhibits a professional, confident, and outgoing demeanor.
- Demonstrates ability to think analytically and strategically.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of recruiting experience (agency and/or corporate); in a fast-paced, metrics driven environment.
- 1+ years of technical recruiting experience.
Additional Requirements and Details:
· Travel required up to 10% of the time.
· Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection on an as-needed basis
· Located and working from an office location (when required)*
· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
· Frequent sitting and/or standing.
*Our offices are currently closed due to COVID-19 and are scheduled to re-open mid 2021.
