Program Manager, Learning and Development

The Program Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for overseeing the new hire onboarding process, new hire education initiatives, employee skills development and engagement programs, and compliance training. This role is responsible for ensuring that new hires are set up for success starting on day one, and provided with the training, education, internal networking opportunities, and sense of belonging needed to succeed at Magnite over their tenure with the company. This role will partner with the DEI, People Operations, People Business Partners, Marketing & Internal Communications teams.
As the Program Manager, Learning and Development you will:
This role will support projects from the research and content development phases to design and execution.
Project manage the Day 1 high level intro to Magnite session to new hires ensuring content is cohesive, engaging, and relevant. Partner with People team members in EMEA and APAC on global on-boarding processes and oversee the global onboarding calendar.
Build, launch and facilitate training sessions, including but not limited to new-hire on-boarding, policy, program and process training, manager trainings, and compliance education.
Establish programs or resources to address employee soft-skills (i.e. public speaking, communication, time management, project management).
Collaborate with other content creation teams, including but not limited to the People team, Recruiting, and Marketing teams cross-departmental projects as required.
Partner with Magnite’s revenue, technical, and administrative teams to extract larger organization L&D themes and needs.
Oversee Magnite’s LMS implementation and administration within the broader HRIS system.
Update and maintain training materials and tools (i.e.decks, pdfs, eLearnings, LMS, and reference materials) to reflect feedback and company changes.
Manage the technologies and personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training (an LMS, Adobe suite, video editing, design elements).
Create metrics to evaluate training effectiveness.
Facilitate live training and discussions related to broader People team initiatives.
Partner with the DEI team to design and execute cultural development programs to enhance employee engagement at Magnite.
Promote a growth culture within Magnite that emphasizes continuous learning and development, and adapting skill sets as needed based upon business needs.
Our ideal candidate:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in relevant discipline; open to non traditional backgrounds with equivalent work experience
Must be detail oriented and have a knack for new systems
Must demonstrate the ability to analyze large datasets and create digestible presentations that tell a story and uncover trends
Strong project management and time management skills.
Some design experience - eLearning formats a plus
2+ year’s experience working in Human Resources or similar function
Experience overseeing and implementing LMS systems
Familiarity with Workday a plus
Track record in designing and executing training programs in both virtual and in person environments
Strategic, analytical thinker who consistently challenges the status quo and ability to comfortably make sound recommendations using data in complex, ambiguous, and changing environment
Demonstrated ability to maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service, multi-tasking, and project management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with strong presentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization and demonstrate a strong commitment to a team environment.
Additional Details:
The base compensation range for this role, depending on level: $70,000 - $80,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable bonus in addition to base compensation, as well as equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
