Responsibilities
The PX Technology Lead will ensure current and future PX Technology applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the company and the People Team. This role will develop a comprehensive end-to-end HR technology strategy that provides a seamless and scalable user and internal experience that enables the People team, leadership, and teammates to be most effective in their day-to-day work.

  • Collaborates with the People Team and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term system objectives; develops a plan to modify, enhance or replace PX applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives.
  • Liaises between the PX team and IT to ensure alignment on Zoom's PX technology initiatives. Leads PXIT meetings and represents PX as a SME on technology initiatives.
  • Assesses current system and utilization; identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize the value and efficiency of Zoom's PX technology suite (Workday, Glint, HireEZ, Clinch, etc.) and other systems that impact the Employee Experience (ServiceNow, Simpplr, etc.).
  • Partners across the PX organization to understand business needs and use root cause analysis to recommend technology solutions. Also partners with People Analytics to prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Prepares Business Cases for Vendor Selection Committee for new PX technology asks and leads the RFQ process for all new PX Technology vendors. Also prepares SOWs and negotiates between PX and Zoom's procurement team. Works with finance to ensure any PX technology asks are included in budget planning.
  • Partners with PX Project Managers to define and capture all technology requirements during project initiation phases. Also helps coordinate Functional system testing including writing Test Scripts and acting as Functional Test Lead.
  • Serve as steward of user experience for the PX applications supported; monitor system adoption and user feedback; ensure the development of processes, tools, support materials, and training to maximize system adoption.


Requirements & Skills

  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information
  • Ability to serve as a change agent and project leader while working with various audiences and teams
  • Experience with procuring and implementing PX systems and applications
  • Experience creating test scripts and leading Functional testing
  • Experience with change initiatives, process improvement and/or
    simplification initiative
  • Solid understanding of PX processes and their impact on PX systems
  • Knowledge of authentication schemas for external 3rd party tools
  • Ability to plan design workshops and coordinate the collection and maintenance of design decisions made by leadership
  • Knowledge of current industry thinking and trends to regularly
    communicate thought leadership in this area as necessary

Education
Required

  • Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems (or related) or
    directly related business experience


Substitutions

  • 5 years' experience in PX systems management and/or as a PX
    systems consultant


Required Experience

  • 5 - 7 years procuring, implementing, and enhancing PX/HR platforms
