A Little About the Role
The Director Learning Services & Development is responsible for creating and implementing the learning strategy to provide best-in-class training to increase the knowledge, skills and capabilities of our workforce while enabling our customers to use our products to simplify childcare operations. The individual in this role is responsible for all formal learning programs at Procare and will manage the Learning Services & Development team. The Director partners across the organization to ensure the learning goals and objectives align with current and future business needs.
Requirements
What you will do
- Create and implement a learning strategy to provide best-in-class training to our employees and customers.
- Lead the Learning Development function that is responsible for developing the knowledge, skills and capabilities of our workforce. This includes on-boarding new employees as well as providing just-in-time training for systems, process, sales, product, leadership and business skills.
- Oversee the Learning Services function that delivers product training to our customers with a focus on enabling our customers to simplify childcare operations.
- Design training curriculum that is scalable with media and methodology that accelerates learning.
- Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvements that can be addressed through learning programs.
- Implement and measure training effectiveness of all learning programs.
- Utilize the Learning Management System to track and implement efficiencies throughout the lifecycle of the learning process.
- Manage the learning budget with an emphasis on maximizing the training cost per learner.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning Development, Business, Organizational Management, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years developing and delivering training programs, including three years in a training leadership position.
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design and development processes.
- Knowledge and experience with the ADDIE training model and Kirkpatrick's levels of Evaluation.
- Experience in project management including leading projects that require the coordination of resources.
- Experience leading a client-facing training organization is preferred.
- Software or technology background is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence change at all levels of the organization.
- Strong verbal, written communication and facilitation skills.
- Complex problem-solving abilities and critical evaluation skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Salary
$100,000 - $140,000 + bonus
Location
This position is based in our Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. Candidates must be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical exemption or religious accommodation. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver office a few days a week.
