In this role, you would ensure we consistently meet our sales goals by leading the sales team and the performance marketers to manage the entire sales and marketing funnel from opt-in to sales conversion. Your role will be supported by a content team (in-house and agency) to produce lead magnets, webinar events, sales enablement tools, etc. You'll also provide direction to the marketing operations team who is responsible for the technical aspects of the lead flowing to conversion flow. You would be integral to our growth, and we envision you taking us to amazing new content heights long-term.

What we’ll expect from you and what you'll be doing:

  • Using your phenomenal leadership and coaching skills to support the marketing & sales team’s in-depth understanding of the product, their communication of the value proposition, and their ability to consistently meet their goals for monthly booked calls with qualified leads, sales from booked calls, and new memberships (conversion and direct) sold.

  • Leveraging your strength in meaningful data analysis and deep knowledge in sales and performance marketing to continuously optimize the sales funnel as a whole and all individual elements of it (e.g. newsletters, advertising, webinars, SDR outreach to the existing database and to warm leads, lead magnets, etc.).

  • Using your digital marketing expertise, financial, analytical, and business skills to plan and manage the advertising budget for drawing leads into the sales funnel, with accountability for campaign ROI.

  • Using your EQ, humble assertiveness, ability to quickly pivot, and outstanding proactive communication to collaboratively work very closely with the CEO, CMO, and COO to strategize and define priorities that align with company objectives.

  • Continuously growing and sharing your expertise in e-learning, member services, sales and digital marketing (including digital platforms, tools, and channels; lead scoring; lead gen funnels; optimization; direct response marketing; trends; as well as static sales and MRR models).

  • Using your project management skills to engage contractors and tactical agencies (SEO, advertising, PR, etc.) to produce integrated results within the sales and marketing funnel.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally with a marketing, business, or communications emphasis) is preferred, but not required.

  • Clear understanding of a B2B customer journey, particularly focused on small businesses, with a minimum of 7 years hands-on consultative sales in that space.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience building and leading successful sales and marketing teams, with the ability to inspire creative solutions, coordinate diverse talent across the customer journey.

  • In-depth knowledge of digital and non-digital marketing, analytical skills, data-driven strategic thinking and planning, with strong experience in performance marketing with accountability for results.

Base salary of $110K–125K depending on combined relevant experience, skills, knowledge and performance, significant uncapped performance-based bonus potential, as well as the generous benefits listed above.
