Role
Orbit Fab is looking for a part time Accounting Clerk to join our small, but mighty, Finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will be responsible for managing our financial accounts as we continue to grow our organization. They will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable with ability to grow into balance sheet account reconciliations. A successful candidate has strong experience in bookkeeping as well as working cross functionally with a variety of teams. Our ideal candidate is motivated and has the skills and experience necessary to work well within an engineering environment. We are looking for someone to work 15-25 hours per week, depending on your availability, and split time between in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Manage payables and receivables

Code all transactions to the accounting system

Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions

Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system

Work with employees to verify monthly credit card transactions

Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

Maintains historical records by electronically filing documents.
Relevant Skills and Knowledge

Understanding accounting best practices

Data entry skills

High attention to detail

Associates degree or at least one year of experience

Knowledge of NetSuite, Divvy, or other applications

Understanding of the integration aspect among the platforms.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
The estimated pay range for this position is $20-25/hr
