Senior process engineer responsible for optimizing a novel direct air capture process, translating conceptual designs into pilot facilities, designing experiments, analyzing process data, conducting HAZID and HAZOP reviews, evaluating equipment performance and safety, troubleshooting operations, and preparing engineering documentation. The role is on-site and collaborates with operators, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Conduct materials research for CO2 capture technologies, including formulation measurement, reproducibility testing, materials characterization, analytical instrument operation, experiment troubleshooting, and data compilation. Prepare materials for testing and deployment on custom sorption equipment, maintain laboratory records and safety standards, support process monitoring and model development, and communicate results through technical reports and presentations.

Design, build, validate, install, and improve mechanical and process equipment for direct air capture facilities and pilot plants. Responsibilities include prototype development, test rig design, testing, data analysis, budgeting, scheduling, technical documentation, design reviews, stakeholder coordination, and oversight of junior engineers. The role is on-site in Brighton, Colorado, involves fabrication-environment work, and requires less than 10% travel.

Leads the design, prototyping, testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement of direct air capture process equipment and pilot plant systems. Responsibilities include CFD and FEA analysis, equipment installation and validation, test rig development, technical documentation, safety reviews, project budgeting and scheduling, vendor coordination, and oversight of junior engineers and designers.

Collects, consolidates, cleans, analyzes, and visualizes experimental data from analytical equipment, test rigs, and pilot plants. Performs statistical analysis, anomaly detection, experimental design support, equipment validation, and QA/QC activities. Presents findings to technical leadership, identifies process improvements, and helps extract actionable insights from structured and spectral data.
