Build application interfaces and backend services for a federal government client. Collaborate within an agile, remote-first team; participate in client meetings, continuous delivery, code reviews, and DevOps practices. Strong communication and adaptive collaboration are expected. The role requires 35 hours weekly, core availability from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET, and travel to Baltimore twice annually.

Conduct mixed-method user research, synthesize findings, and translate insights into stakeholder-ready recommendations. Design complex form-based workflows, user journeys, service experiences, and prototypes for web and enterprise systems. Communicate design rationale, manage stakeholder relationships, collaborate with agile cross-functional and external development teams, and support accessible, plain-language government services. The role is fully remote, client-facing, and may involve Salesforce design work and consulting engagements.

Lead Truss's federal and state growth by setting strategy, building pipeline, leading capture and proposals, developing agency and partner relationships, and managing a team of Business Development and Account Managers to win and deliver digital services work.
