Construction interns gain hands-on experience in project engineering, field management, estimating, preconstruction, and jobsite operations. Responsibilities include supporting project managers and field supervisors, estimating change orders, soliciting bidders, coordinating subcontractors, scheduling contracts and materials, maintaining documents, managing safety activities, attending team meetings, and preparing RFIs and submittals. The program may involve travel across the United States and relocation for specific roles, with potential full-time employment after graduation.

Supports construction project teams through document control, daily coordination, material procurement, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, surveying and layout, progress reporting, equipment management, safety oversight, and project estimating. The role uses data-driven problem solving and collaborates with project stakeholders to manage production and maintain strong working relationships.

Support water-division construction projects through document control, daily coordination, procurement, QC/QA checks, subcontractor and equipment management, surveying and layout, safety oversight, progress reporting, and project estimating.

Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, change order and subcontractor management. Oversee safety, quality control, equipment and vehicle management, resolve site problems, and help manage project engineers to keep construction projects on schedule and within budget.
