The role manages global account, technical account, and business development teams while partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product management, operations, engineering, quality, and finance.

Leads applied material science innovation for fresh food packaging, advancing technologies from proof of concept through validation, scale-up, and commercialization. Manages material scientists, engineers, and lab technicians while guiding formulation development, experimental design, data analysis, technical validation, supplier investigations, and technology roadmaps. Partners with marketing, product management, operations, quality, procurement, and project management to ensure manufacturability, commercial relevance, and successful product launches.

Lead category strategy and strategic sourcing for indirect functional spend (HR, IT, Marketing, Insurance, Professional Services). Manage a ~$60M global portfolio, drive cost savings, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation. Own supplier relationships, contract compliance, procurement governance, stakeholder collaboration across functions and divisions, and track/ report value delivery into the central procurement pipeline.
