Lead engineer for commercial concrete projects supporting project controls, purchasing, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, quantity calculations, vendor coordination, cost tracking, and site safety/quality. Assist project manager with change orders, purchase orders, recordkeeping, and job-cost reporting while serving as a site leader for workmanship and safety.

Lead and maintain the commercial unit's operating structure, managing safety, quality, production, manpower, equipment, logistics, and project finances. Oversee superintendents, layout and project management teams; forecast staffing, set pay scales, implement training, ensure safety compliance, manage change orders and site logistics, and coordinate with preconstruction to meet project execution and financial goals.

Perform concrete finishing tasks including form setting, base compaction and grading, rebar fabrication/installation, placing and screeding concrete, hand floating and finishing around drains and edges, and cutting control joints. Work as part of a crew, follow safety standards, use hand tools, and travel to job sites as needed.

Lead and oversee the accounting and finance function, supervising staff and managing AP/AR, payroll, job costing, tax reporting, budgets, cash flow, and monthly/annual financial close. Produce timely financial reports and analyses, implement policies and systems to improve processes, interface with banks, insurers, CPA and legal advisors, and support executive leadership on financial planning and strategic decisions.

Lead and manage the company-wide construction safety program, ensure OSHA compliance, develop project-specific safety plans, conduct inspections and incident investigations, deliver training and toolbox talks, manage PPE/SDS and workers' compensation, and drive continuous safety improvements across field and office operations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Serve as primary client and on-site contact to deliver commercial concrete projects on time and within budget. Oversee document control (PlanGrid), subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, shop drawings, materials coordination, scheduling, change orders, billing, risk assessment, quality control, and closeouts. Lead pre-install and closeout meetings, monitor subcontractors, support business development, and maintain accurate project records.
