Own the software development lifecycle across complex environments by building secure CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, managing Linux and cloud systems, configuring identity platforms, applying STIG compliance, and integrating applications across security realms. The role includes administering Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, GitLab, AWS, Keycloak, Nginx, Splunk, and enterprise collaboration systems while supporting secure staging and production deployments.

Develop and execute automated software performance and security tests, analyze test results and root causes, coordinate defect remediation, and improve testing procedures. Build test environments, plans, cases, and automation scripts for web services. Validate response times, feedback, error codes, XML, and JSON payloads while applying REST methods and OAuth authentication. The role is onsite in Colorado Springs, supports defense and government programs, requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance, and may involve up to 10% travel.

Coordinate configuration management within SAFe and DevSecOps teams, maintaining documentation, configuration items, change control processes, and CM plans aligned with SSC policies and NIST 800-53. Automate CM workflows using approved tools, support compliance with Quality teams, deliver software artifacts, and coordinate across project management, risk, quality, development, testing, fielding, sustainment, and cloud services teams.

Provide Systems Engineering and technical assistance for defensive cyber solutions across ground and space domains. Develop and deploy software, manage and monitor hardware/software systems, assist with network tap design and system surveys, evaluate systems for refresh, and lead or support hardware installation and software deployments at mission sites. Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and agile teams.

Lead technical design and execution for an AI/ML mission platform: drive architecture decisions, lead major engineering epics, simplify distributed systems, optimize edge and cloud performance, mentor engineers, integrate ML models and inference pipelines, and represent technical capabilities to DoD stakeholders.

Secure and continuously improve cloud platform environments across classified and unclassified DoD systems. Responsibilities include vulnerability remediation, ATO and cATO support, security automation, DevSecOps integration, Zero Trust, IAM, PKI, network security, monitoring, and RMF documentation. The engineer will collaborate with software, platform, SRE, product, and government teams while troubleshooting access and security issues and supporting secure enterprise deployments.
