Assists with industrial automation and systems integration projects by developing PLC and HMI programs, creating control-panel documentation, testing system functionality, troubleshooting hardware and software issues during startup, supporting customer training, and responding to service calls. The role also involves preparing BOMs, I/O lists, test plans, simulation logic, user manuals, and coordinating with customers, vendors, and manufacturers.

Designs and implements industrial control systems, including PLC programs, HMIs, control architectures, instrumentation configurations, testing, documentation, and training. Leads small projects, develops control panel requirements, troubleshoots hardware and software issues, coordinates with installation teams and vendors, and supports system startups and service calls.

Supervise instrumentation and controls technicians performing setup, wiring, terminations, testing, troubleshooting, loop checks, and calibration. Coordinate schedules with electrical contractors and project teams, interpret schematics and P&IDs, inspect work for code and quality compliance, train technicians, manage labor and materials, enforce safety procedures, and support hiring and performance reviews. The supervisor also performs technician duties as needed.
