Trainee will learn sales and operations, develop solutions for local and national accounts, manage fleet productivity and customer satisfaction, generate leads and maintain customer relationships. Role includes DOT-regulated driving, maintaining driver qualification files, travel within the district, background and drug screening, and physical tasks up to 25 lbs. Training, mentoring, and advancement opportunities provided.

Coordinate branch administrative and financial processes to support profitability and customer service. Manage accounts receivable, lease/contract billing, fleet licensing/permitting, process analyses using Qlikview/AS400, maintain personnel files, payroll, and assist branch and district financial managers.

Manage local and national customer accounts, generate new business, oversee fleet productivity and customer satisfaction, perform sales and operations tasks, maintain DOT driver qualifications, and complete required training and compliance checks.

Perform inspections, preventative maintenance and light repairs on shop equipment and tools while driving a SETS truck. Complete digital inspections, report inventory and repair needs, collaborate with location staff, suggest process improvements, assist training, and maintain truck organization and safety.

Lead warehouse operations and teams to meet customer KPIs and financial targets. Recruit, train, develop, and retain staff; drive process improvements, safety culture, fleet/equipment optimization, and P&L management while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on diesel and gas vehicles, assist with diagnostics, complete DOT-regulated inspections, and learn skills through Penske training under supervision.

Perform preventative maintenance and major/minor repairs on truck and trailer equipment, diagnose engines/transmissions/differentials, perform road tests, maintain safe and clean work areas, use Penske tools and diagnostics to log repairs, mentor others, complete assigned projects, comply with DOT/OSHA safety rules, and participate in required training.

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, parts replacement and basic repairs on heavy-duty trucks, tractors and trailers. Follow DOT and OSHA safety rules, maintain driver qualification files, complete service and parts orders using computers, and meet physical demands including lifting, climbing and working outdoors. Participate in training and adhere to Penske maintenance procedures.

Coordinate emergency roadside assistance through high-volume inbound/outbound customer and service-provider communications, document interactions, troubleshoot breakdowns, escalate complex events, and complete ongoing training to minimize downtime and cost.
