Validates pre-production SSDs using servers and ecosystem hardware, develops automated and manual test strategies, executes validation plans, analyzes results, reports findings, and improves testing methodologies. The role owns test coverage, coordinates with firmware and hardware design teams, supports shift-left initiatives, prepares validation samples, and helps drive defect root-cause analysis and resolution.

Builds and tests client and enterprise systems at scale, manages lab component inventory, executes automated or vendor test cases, documents build procedures and performance logs, and assesses equipment and test health. Performs first-level failure triage, designs experiments to isolate failure modes, identifies process improvements, and proposes solutions. Requires familiarity with PC components, enterprise systems, storage technologies, Linux, technical writing, and interpreted-language development.

Support and troubleshoot a CI/CD automation platform integrating Tekton, open-source pipelines, and internal tools. The role focuses primarily on CI/CD infrastructure, debugging, automation, and pipeline development, with additional firmware validation responsibilities. The engineer will collaborate with distributed teams, independently resolve complex issues, and help maintain and enhance infrastructure.

Own end-to-end customer-focused validation and qualification for enterprise and data-center SSD products. Plan validation cycles, configure systems and firmware environments, analyze failures, perform debugging and risk assessment, and develop automated test cases and scripts. Serve as the technical owner for assigned projects, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and share validation practices across teams.
