Leads and develops a team of software engineers while balancing people management with technical leadership. Responsibilities include coaching, performance management, roadmap planning, architecture and code-quality guidance, hiring, staffing, risk management, incident response, stakeholder communication, and cross-team engineering initiatives. The manager partners with product and engineering leadership to deliver reliable software and foster a collaborative, accountable culture.

Lead the technical direction, architecture, and roadmap for the company’s data platform. Design reliable large-scale pipelines, establish standards for modeling, testing, observability, and orchestration, and mentor data engineers. Partner with engineering, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure investments. Lead incident root-cause analysis, evaluate data technologies, and support scalable analytics, machine learning, and real-time processing capabilities.

Designs and operates scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, schemas, and cloud data infrastructure supporting analytics, reporting, and product features. Responsibilities include monitoring pipeline health, resolving data quality issues, improving performance and cost efficiency, documenting systems, collaborating with engineering and analytics teams, and participating in production incident response.

Embed as the daily technical authority inside a Tier 1 regulated customer to design, defend, and operate NX1 integrations across the data stack. Lead architecture reviews, design integration patterns (identity, CDC, governance, lineage, encryption), surface and qualify new workload opportunities for sales, produce defendable design docs, coordinate internal stakeholders, maintain executive relationships, and lead escalations and vendor governance.

Own enterprise sales cycles for NexusOne: prospect and develop new business, engage C-level stakeholders, present data and AI solutions with technical teams, negotiate and close deals, manage pipeline/CRM, provide market insights, collaborate cross-functionally, advise executive leadership, lead strategic initiatives, and serve as primary communication hub across stakeholders.

Partner with Sales and Product teams to design and demo NX1 data platform solutions, lead POCs and onboarding, define architecture and product roadmap, and provide technical guidance and best practices for enterprise data and AI/ML workloads.

Lead and scale NexusOne's sales function end-to-end: set strategy and targets, build and coach a high-performing team, design repeatable processes and tooling, own forecasting and key sales metrics, close strategic enterprise deals, and partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to drive predictable revenue.
