Perform manual labor on the drilling rig floor: assemble/disassemble drill pipe, operate pipe-handling equipment and hoists, maintain and repair rig equipment, ensure housekeeping, identify hazards, participate in safety meetings, and train new floorhands under the Driller's supervision.

Support development and administration of global corporate insurance and risk management programs. Manage insurance renewals, multi-line claims (reporting, development, settlements), procure insurance and surety bonds, coordinate service providers, assess reserves, generate loss histories, support risk-reduction policies and audits, and assist the Director of Risk Management on strategic initiatives and special projects.

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on rig mechanical systems (generators, engines, compressors, pumps). Monitor equipment, troubleshoot and implement corrective actions, assist mechanic on major repairs, supervise floorhands during rig up/down, operate forklift, and perform floorhand duties as needed while following safety and fuel/oil transfer regulations.
