Leads Epic revenue application analysts supporting hospital business applications, including HB claims and remittance workflows. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, workflow analysis, application configuration and build, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, documentation, stakeholder communication, training support, and project status reporting. Requires five years of related experience, application system build experience, healthcare environment experience, and Epic certification or accreditation.

Conducts clinical documentation integrity reviews for acute-care admissions, abstracts chart data, assigns ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG codes, identifies documentation gaps, submits provider queries, and supports denial appeals. Performs mortality and quality reviews, collaborates with physicians, coders, and interdisciplinary teams, participates in training and process improvement, and meets CDI quality and productivity goals.

Performs financial and operational analysis to support strategic decisions, improve efficiency, identify cost savings, and enhance financial performance. Responsibilities include profitability analysis, costing methodologies, corporate allocations, patient-level analysis, productivity assessments, and decision-support system improvements. Partners with finance and operational leaders and provides actionable recommendations across healthcare service lines.

Processes and prepares tissue specimens for pathologist examination by embedding, sectioning, staining, coverslipping, and labeling slides. Performs special stains, maintains specimen records and tissue archives, monitors supplies and reagents, cleans and maintains histology areas and equipment, and supports quality procedures. Enters patient and test information, prepares send-out specimens, identifies instrument issues, and retrieves specimens from surgical and GI departments. Requires ASCP certification and travel between facilities as needed.
