Provides technical authority and leadership for complex spacecraft and spaceflight systems across concept, design, integration, verification, production, launch, and mission support. Leads multidisciplinary engineering teams, establishes technical standards, owns critical technical decisions, manages risk and product integrity, advises customers and executives, supports technology roadmaps, and mentors engineering talent. The role balances performance, reliability, cost, schedule, manufacturability, and mission requirements while ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and company standards.

Designs and modifies mechanical systems for spacecraft products and new mission capabilities. Develops conceptual designs, CAD models, requirements, test fixtures, and manufacturing solutions. Evaluates designs against engineering, customer, quality, and specification requirements; supports drafting, configuration management, engineering changes, proposal development, gate reviews, and production issue resolution. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, business development, customers, and partners while applying design-for-manufacturability principles.

Design, implement, verify, and debug real-time embedded flight software for spacecraft and space vehicles. Lead architecture and design decisions, develop simulators and automated testing frameworks, perform system-level testing, and support CI efforts. Collaborate with hardware, avionics, guidance, navigation, control, and systems teams. Mentor engineers, review requirements and code, and contribute across multiple Agile programs.

Designs and develops hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electromechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic test equipment for military, commercial, and space vehicle products. Leads technical projects, trade studies, analyses, budgets, schedules, proposal designs, equipment assembly, systems architecture, interface definition, and requirements validation. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, provides technical leadership, supports program execution, and mentors junior engineers.

Lead division-level strategic planning, market expansion, and portfolio/investment prioritization for Moog Space Division. Provide market analysis, cross-functional alignment, executive communications, scenario planning, and external engagement to drive long-term growth and opportunity development.

Coordinate and maintain subcontracting data for high-dollar government and commercial proposals. Ensure FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS compliance, support audits and negotiations, analyze bills of material, train supply chain teams, align material pricing strategy with cost engineering, interface with suppliers, and support proposal submission, revisions, and budget baseline processes.
