Manage moderate-complexity workers’ compensation and casualty claims, including investigations, coverage determinations, litigation oversight, negotiations, settlements, reserves, and stakeholder communication. Coordinate with defense counsel, underwriting, vendors, and internal teams; identify adverse developments; maintain reporting and procedural compliance; develop action plans; participate in agent meetings; and support training and development of claims examiners.

Lead actuarial strategy and analysis for the Workers Compensation segment, overseeing pricing, profitability monitoring, portfolio analytics, and forecasting. Partner with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and senior leadership to evaluate loss trends, drive pricing and reinsurance decisions, and present actionable insights. Manage and mentor actuarial staff and contribute to cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Support and grow relationships with lower-premium agencies to increase small commercial premium production. Make outbound production calls, hold virtual meetings, visit agencies quarterly, onboard and train agents, prepare reports, and collaborate with regional business development and underwriting teams to meet production targets.
