Conduct machine learning research operations using existing infrastructure. Characterize neural network quality, failure modes, and edge cases; coordinate experiments with researchers; manage concurrent experiments and deadlines; review results; recommend theoretical or process improvements; and prepare technical reports communicating qualitative and quantitative findings.

Conduct research and develop novel AI algorithms for unsupervised learning and perception at scale. Extend proprietary algorithmic tools, maintain deep learning experimentation systems, and collaborate with software and autonomous vehicle engineers to deploy algorithms on internal and customer vehicle platforms. The role emphasizes rapid experimentation, computer vision, neural networks, and practical delivery of customer projects.

Design and implement motion-planning software for autonomous vehicles, including behavior planning, trajectory generation, safety constraints, and real-time embedded performance. Integrate planning with perception, prediction, localization, and control systems. Validate solutions through simulation, closed-course trials, and on-road testing while addressing complex edge cases and collaborating with vendors, AI teams, and customers.
