Lead tax compliance for a public REIT, ensuring REIT qualification, federal and multi-state partnership tax returns, K-1s, distributions, and coordination with accounting, legal, and external advisors. Manage internal tax team, respond to audits and notices, and oversee tax filing timeliness and accuracy across complex tiered structures.
