Assembles, integrates, tests, and qualifies spacecraft solar array hardware. Develops test plans, procedures, tooling, fixtures, and Ground Support Equipment; performs environmental testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. Supports commissioning and continuous improvement of a new U.S. manufacturing and test facility, including production-line development, equipment installation, and process qualification. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, customers, suppliers, and test facilities while maintaining hardware traceability, safety, quality, and configuration compliance.

Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects involving mechanical, electrical, systems, and mechatronics teams. Manage tasks, schedules, budgets, contractors, vendors, and hardware procurement while mentoring engineers. Perform design and analysis of structures, mechanisms, and mechatronic systems supporting spaceflight hardware programs.

Design, implement, test, debug, and evolve onboard flight software for spacecraft and payloads. Responsibilities include defining software architecture, mission modes, state machines, data handling, communications, command processing, fault detection and recovery, and hardware interfaces. The engineer will adapt vendor software, collaborate with avionics and systems teams, perform lab and integration testing, document procedures, and serve as a flight software subject matter expert.
