Leads legal strategy for consumer financial products and regulatory matters across banking, lending, payments, subscriptions, and emerging fintech products. Advises product, risk, compliance, and executive teams; oversees licensing, regulatory monitoring, exams, audits, bank partnerships, and outside counsel. Manages and develops senior legal professionals while translating complex legal requirements into practical business decisions.

Designs and builds TypeScript backend services for real-time and asynchronous risk decisioning. Develops event-driven workflows, queues, pub/sub systems, cloud task infrastructure, and state machines. Collaborates with product, operations, and infrastructure teams; delivers projects end to end, participates in code reviews, provides technical leadership, and mentors engineers.

Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Dave’s promotions and engagement products. Lead ML-driven personalization, experimentation, promotion targeting, app engagement surfaces, and retention initiatives. Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Operations, Growth, and senior leadership to deliver measurable outcomes. The role requires quantitative rigor, product judgment, technical fluency, and experience building engagement, retention, or loyalty programs in high-volume B2C technology environments.
