Provides clinical leadership and oversight for nursing services in a behavioral health and addiction treatment program. Supervises, mentors, schedules, and evaluates nursing staff; oversees medication administration, withdrawal management, patient safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on treatment planning, supports crisis response and quality improvement, and promotes trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and recovery-oriented care. The role includes direct patient interaction, staff development, audits, on-call responsibilities, and assistance with unit supervision.

Coordinates and monitors patient activities and daily withdrawal management operations. Conducts intake screenings, assesses eligibility, gathers medical and substance-use histories, monitors medications and vital signs, provides case management and counseling sessions, completes documentation, verifies monitoring reports, and coordinates treatment referrals. Requires patient monitoring, crisis intervention, and communication with physicians and supervisors regarding medical or mental health concerns.

Provides overnight nursing care for patients with mental health and substance use disorders. Manages and administers medications, educates patients and families, documents care in electronic records, monitors patient needs, maintains infection-control and controlled-substance procedures, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports a safe, compassionate treatment environment.

Coordinates and monitors withdrawal management unit activities, conducts patient intake screenings and assessments, takes vital signs, monitors medications and patients, provides case management and counseling sessions, completes documentation, verifies monitoring reports, and coordinates medical or mental health referrals. The role requires shift flexibility, crisis intervention skills, recognition of medical issues, and communication with physicians and supervisors.

Conducts urinalysis monitoring and curfew checks for participants in recovery residences. Maintains sample integrity, documents results, performs random weekly testing, protects participant dignity and confidentiality, and reports safety hazards. The role requires professionalism, basic computer skills, physical ability to bend and lift, a valid driver’s license, and CPR and first-aid certification. Prior urinalysis experience and experience supporting individuals recovering from substance use disorder are preferred.

Supervises IPS employment specialists and oversees supported employment program implementation for individuals facing addiction or mental health challenges. Develops individualized employment and education plans, provides job-search and retention support, builds employer relationships, coordinates accommodations and benefits counseling, and partners with vocational rehabilitation agencies. Monitors caseloads and outcomes, leads staff meetings, conducts community outreach, and participates in IPS learning communities.

Provide withdrawal management and case management services: assess and triage patients, take vitals, monitor medication, conduct individual and group sessions, complete documentation, and coordinate medical/mental health referrals while supervising patients during assigned shifts.

Provide child screening, developmental assessments, and individualized developmental plans; deliver parent education and childcare during treatment; coordinate resources and referrals, collaborate with clinicians on treatment plans, manage caseloads, and support childrens health, learning, and family engagement within a behavioral health residential unit.
