Leads pharmaceutical manufacturing engineering projects from business case and design through construction, qualification, validation, and delivery. Manages scope, cost, schedules, contractors, vendors, purchasing, project controls, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder consensus across multiple disciplines. Provides technical leadership for equipment, facilities, process design, technology transfer, and production-support projects while ensuring cGMP, FDA, safety, quality, and performance requirements are met.

Leads complex pharmaceutical and fine chemical capital projects from business case through design, construction, qualification, and validation. Coordinates engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, purchasing, budgets, schedules, scope, and regulatory compliance. Provides technical leadership, resolves disputes and design issues, manages project controls and change control, and communicates progress to customers, production management, and senior leadership. Ensures adherence to FDA, cGMP, ICH Q7, environmental, safety, and process safety requirements.

Leads legal support for Corden Pharma’s U.S. operations, including commercial agreements, disputes, regulatory matters, compliance, risk mitigation, legal training, and strategic initiatives. Advises site and business leaders, manages outside counsel and legal budgets, supports capital projects, M&A, integrations, and corporate finance transactions, and collaborates with global legal and cross-functional teams.

Supports manufacturing safety through hazard assessments, industrial hygiene surveys, regulatory compliance, safety program development, employee training, emergency response, audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Reviews equipment designs and procedures for safety and environmental compliance, maintains OSHA records, manages safety equipment inspections, and provides on-call emergency support. Requires extensive health and safety experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Provides strategic administrative and operational support to the Managing Director and EVP, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, communications, expense reporting, confidential information handling, leadership meeting logistics, executive visits, corporate reports, site events, and facility or IT coordination.

Provides technical leadership for pharmaceutical manufacturing process development, scale-up, technology transfer, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Supports lab and plant operations, conducts root cause investigations, implements Process Analytical Technology strategies, and optimizes processes for safety, quality, yield, throughput, cost, and compliance. Collaborates with manufacturing, R&D, regulatory teams, and customers while preparing technical documentation and supporting commercial manufacturing campaigns.

Manages and executes capital engineering projects supporting pharmaceutical drug substance, intermediate, and fine chemical production. Responsibilities include developing scopes and business cases, coordinating engineering and construction activities, tracking cost and schedules, reviewing designs, overseeing qualification and validation, managing change control, supporting regulatory compliance, and resolving technical issues. The role also directs contract engineers and contributes to equipment selection, process design, project budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
