Provides on-campus IT support for faculty, staff, students, researchers, and visitors. The role requires substantial research administration contracting, supervision, technology transfer, and intellectual property negotiation experience.

Manages complex sponsored research proposal submissions, ensuring compliance with sponsor, federal, state, and institutional requirements. Develops and reviews budgets, coordinates subrecipients, negotiates costs, maintains proposal data, and tracks approvals. Advises and trains faculty and staff, supports proposal analysts, communicates with sponsors, and leads process-improvement efforts. Requires on-campus presence in Golden, Colorado at least twice weekly.

Leads the Research Accounting team and oversees sponsored award financial administration, including award setup, budget and expense monitoring, financial and non-financial reporting, reconciliations, closeout, quality control, and regulatory compliance. Supervises five direct reports, develops procedures and training, analyzes financial data, resolves discrepancies, and advises faculty, staff, sponsors, and university leadership on research accounting matters.

Develops and supports secure data integrations, migrations, and ETL/ELT pipelines across ERP, student information, and data warehouse systems. Builds API, connector, batch, and file-transfer integrations; transforms and validates data; monitors workflows and resolves processing issues. Collaborates with business, technical, security, and analytics stakeholders to gather requirements, document data flows, support reporting, and improve system interoperability. The role requires regular hybrid campus presence in Golden, Colorado.

Manage full employee lifecycle and payroll data in Workday, ensuring compliance, accurate recordkeeping, audits (including 1042-S), process improvements, metrics, and training/support for campus stakeholders.
