Serves as a permitting and plan review domain expert for engineering, product, design, data, and go-to-market teams. Reviews permit applications, plan sets, submittals, and AI outputs; interprets building codes; identifies missing or noncompliant information; defines approval and revision criteria; labels examples for ML systems; synthesizes jurisdictional requirements; and develops rubrics, checklists, documentation, and benchmarks. Requires approximately 5+ years of hands-on permitting or plan review experience and fluency in applicable building codes.

Lead the development of Brain Co.'s strategy for government partnerships and AI deployments, transforming early pilot programs into scalable solutions.

Part-time domain expert role advising product and engineering teams on commercial contract workflows. Duties include walking through legal processes, evaluating AI outputs, creating evaluation rubrics and ground-truth data, reviewing agreements, and supporting customer discovery. Expect 5–10 hours/week for 3–4 months, remote-friendly, U.S.-based candidates only, NDA required.
