The electrical engineer will provide technical expertise, manage projects, mentor staff, collaborate across teams, and ensure successful project delivery in renewable energy.

Responsible for substation physical design, project planning, client relations, and staff development. Requires strong technical and project management skills.

Lead applied geochemistry projects (tailings, mine waste, CCR, legacy contamination) providing technical direction, predictive geochemical/reactive-transport modeling (PHREEQC, MIN3P, PHT-USG), material characterization, field/lab program design, client engagement, staff mentoring, project management, and business development to support regulatory-compliant, science-based site decisions.

Design and produce detailed electrical drawings for power distribution, controls, and lighting (600V and below) using AutoCAD Electrical/CADD. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform occasional field visits to industrial sites, and support equipment coordination, lighting, and electrical distribution design.

Lead and manage cultural resources projects across the Four Corners region, overseeing budgets, permits, field investigations, reporting, and client/regulatory coordination. Mentor staff, direct field crews and subconsultants, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Design and deliver substation physical design deliverables including layouts, elevations, bills of material, conduit and equipment sizing, grounding and lightning protection calculations, and specifications. Coordinate with clients and internal teams, support project planning and execution, mentor staff, and ensure timely, on-budget deliverables. Requires fieldwork and collaboration across disciplines.

Design and analyze DC and AC solar collection systems and power plant controllers; prepare plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates; develop proposals and manage project scope, schedule, and budget; mentor staff and provide technical leadership; collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Occasional domestic fieldwork (10–15%).
