Asset Living Benefits Overview

The Senior Accountant prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, accounting memos, audit requests, expense analyses, and budgets. The role researches accounting guidance, resolves reporting issues, supports month-end close improvements, develops procedures, and helps optimize ERP utilization while coordinating property and corporate accounting.

Lead strategy, delivery, and improvement of enterprise systems supporting property management operations. Build and coach a high-performing systems team, oversee Tier 3 support, manage implementations/migrations/integrations, set KPIs, partner with business leaders, drive change management, mitigate risks, and standardize documentation and processes.

Leads property accounting and financial statement preparation for client portfolios. Supervises assistant controllers and accountants, ensures accurate and timely reporting under GAAP, reviews reconciliations and operating results, coordinates budgets, communicates with clients and auditors, establishes departmental goals, supports hiring and performance reviews, manages staffing efficiency, and recommends procedural improvements. Requires an accounting or finance degree, strong financial knowledge, analytical ability, communication skills, and organizational attention to detail.
