Leads a portfolio of advanced solid-state laser and lidar/ladar development programs for defense and security applications. Oversees program managers, aligns resources and execution, manages customer relationships with government and DoD prime organizations, and ensures compliance within FAR/DFARS environments. Responsibilities also include proposal development, capture strategy, negotiations, technology roadmapping, and delivery oversight across complex electro-optical programs.

Support configuration and data management across the product lifecycle, including document, software, drawing, revision, release, and archival control. Develop configuration release processes, track project data, prepare engineering change notices and proposals, manage deviations, waivers, and bills of materials, and coordinate with engineering, systems integration, testing, manufacturing, and program teams. Ensure compliance with SAE EIA-649, ISO 9001, and related industry standards while driving process improvement.

Supports manufacturing engineering, mechanical design improvements, tooling, assembly procedures, production transitions, and continuous process improvement for ruggedized electro-optical and laser systems. Operates shaker-table testing, analyzes vibration and shock data, investigates mechanical nonconformances, supports ERP-based manufacturing orders, and collaborates with engineering, quality, production, and program teams. The role also ensures manufacturability, environmental robustness, safety compliance, and production hardware reliability.

Design, build, and test electro-optic and robotic systems integrating hardware such as sensors, drones, lasers, lidar, communications equipment, and FPGAs with software. Develop embedded and real-time control solutions, write hardware-interface code, conduct field testing, optimize system performance, and support prototypes through production readiness. Collaborate across disciplines on computer vision, motion control, and real-time data acquisition projects.

Build and support internal applications, workflow automations, integrations, data pipelines, and AI-agent-connected tools. Design solutions, work with APIs and databases, deploy applications in Azure using CI/CD and infrastructure as code, and maintain secure, documented, recoverable systems. Collaborate with business users on discovery, demonstrations, training, and support. The role requires agent-assisted development, stakeholder communication, occasional travel, onsite work, and eligibility for a future Department of Defense security clearance.
