Hospitalist physician role providing daytime inpatient care at AdventHealth Parker. Lead clinical practice, manage admissions and daily patient care, run codes and rapid responses, co-manage ICU-level patients with Critical Care, collaborate with consultants and support staff, and uphold professional and patient-centered standards within a multi-hospital hospitalist group.

Perform radiographic imaging by positioning and operating x-ray equipment, provide direct patient care and transport, maintain exam rooms and equipment, follow infection control, assist in trauma and surgical imaging, and ensure quality control and inventory management.

Provide lactation support and education to breastfeeding mothers and infants across hospital units and lactation centers. Conduct rounds and private consultations, maintain documentation, teach prenatal classes, answer help line, collaborate with staff, participate in community education and research, and follow infection control and safety policies.

Performs patient registration, eligibility and benefits verification, pre-authorizations, Medicare compliance reviews, collections, cashiering, and PBX coverage. Coordinates between clinical and revenue cycle teams, documents interactions, and ensures regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS, EMTALA).

Performs patient registration, insurance eligibility and pre-authorization verification, Medicare compliance reviews, estimates patient financial responsibility, collects payments, manages communication across clinical and consumer access teams, provides PBX coverage and cashiering, and documents interactions to support revenue cycle and patient experience.

Provide clinical and administrative supervision after regular business hours, manage personnel and resources, reassign staff, perform rounds, respond to emergencies, coordinate resources, review policies and reports, and participate in committees and management meetings.

Provide hands-on clinical informatics support across inpatient, ambulatory, procedural, and virtual settings. Resolve EHR issues, optimize workflows, support upgrades/go-lives, drive documentation standards and decision support adoption, mentor junior informatics staff, collaborate with clinical leaders and training teams, and participate in testing, validation, and improvement initiatives to enhance clinician experience and patient safety.

Provide hospital-based care as an Advanced Practice Provider: admit and evaluate patients, respond to codes/rapid responses, manage transfers and consults, participate in bedside care planning and staff education, maintain regulatory/certification requirements, and communicate promptly with hospital teams.

Provide clinical leadership for the Neuro/Joint/Spine unit: perform venous access and infusion therapies, assess patients, develop care plans, educate patients, mentor and evaluate staff, lead quality improvement and training initiatives, resolve team conflicts, ensure regulatory and hospital policy compliance, and support operational/financial management of the unit.

Provide comprehensive pre/post cardiology recovery nursing care including assessments, individualized care plans, medication administration, patient/family education, documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, infection control, emotional support, supervision of care team members, continuous evaluation of interventions, participation in professional development, and emergency/code response.

Creates accurate patient financial estimates, collects payments or sets payment plans, handles cashiering and PBX coverage, documents interactions, and coordinates between clinical, ancillary, and consumer access teams to optimize the patient experience.

Provide comprehensive nursing care for unit patient population including assessments, medication administration, care planning, interdisciplinary communication, infection prevention, hourly rounding, and participation in quality and process improvement initiatives. Supports patient education, documents diagnostic data, and follows regulatory standards while developing clinical skills and participating in clinical ladder opportunities.

Manage budgeting, variance reporting, and financial analysis for Surgical Services. Oversee invoice correlation, reimbursement analysis, supply chain/vendor relationships, and non-clinical operations in leadership absence. Prepare reports, monitor capital, and collaborate across departments to ensure cost-effective, high-quality surgical services.

Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, position patients and equipment, ensure image quality and radiation safety (ALARA), document in EMR/PACS, assist and monitor patients, maintain equipment, supplies, licenses, and continuing education; cross-train into advanced modalities as needed.

Participates in community outreach and staff education, and attends relevant conferences.

Performs high-quality CT exams per provider orders and department protocols, including IV contrast administration, patient positioning, radiation safety, PACS/EMR documentation, and collaboration with radiologists. Maintains infection control, monitors patients for reactions, operates CT equipment and workstations, and follows departmental policies and safety procedures. PRN, day shift.
