Supports accounting and operations for venture capital and private equity clients. Responsibilities include processing invoices, expenses, payroll, benefits, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, reconciliations, vendor setup, and banking transaction coding under US GAAP. Reviews Staff Accountant work, provides training and technical support, approves expense reports, and serves as a client and team contact. The role is remote within approved U.S. states and requires strong communication, independence, and attention to detail.

Manage relationships with multiple venture capital and private equity clients while overseeing accounting workflows, reconciliations, journal entries, general ledgers, month-end close, investment records, financial statements, audits, and tax coordination. Review junior team members’ work, delegate tasks, provide coaching, and support complex accounting matters involving US GAAP, partnership accounting, and allocation waterfalls. Use Xero, FundPanel, and Excel to deliver accurate client reporting and investor correspondence.

Support client service teams for VC/PE funds by reconciling bank transactions, preparing GAAP journal entries, maintaining investor and legal records, processing AP and intercompany invoices, and assisting with audit and tax documentation. Gain hands-on accounting experience and progress toward full ownership of client tasks.

Lead client-facing accounting teams for VC/PE funds: manage client relationships, drive month-end close, reconcile banking and investments, prepare quarterly financial statements, maintain investment database, produce investor communications, manage audits and tax work, and mentor staff while ensuring US GAAP partnership accounting and waterfall allocations are accurate.

Manage fund accounting for a dedicated client set: reconcile banking, prepare journal entries and quarterly financial statements in Xero, drive month-end close, prepare investor communications and capital notices in FundPanel, maintain legal and investor documents in Box, and support audit and tax processes. Client-facing role working with Controllers.
